I doubt the round object is a bomblet from a cluster bomb. The round shape would not fit in a bomb casing very efficiently. That being said, I cant think of what it could be. According to the article they detonated it shortly after finding it. Not smart when you dont know what something is.

It reached space but just barely. This was a solid fuel rocket. Not a liquid fueled rocket like those found in an ICBM.

This will definitely ease tensions. We have are already normalized relations with Vietnam, now that the Soviet Union is gone, the US is much more open to dealing with communist countries. Just look at China.

While the prices do seem high to us. Dont forget the value of the dollar has been falling for some time. That can partly explain the price increases, and is perhaps scariest of all, for us anyway.
